'Maggie'
AKC Schöne Margarete
Maggie comes from a perfect blend of show and working lines that consist of multi-level champion show, tracking, herding, and working Polish dogs. Including V Dax Ardelia (IPO1 PKR I-68312 Kkl passed also working Police dog) on her dam's side and SUNRISE WINGS OF GOLD FIRECREST TC (VCD1 CD TD RA HSAS MXS MJB MXP8 MXPG MJP7 MJPS PAX2 MXF MFP T2BP) and REGENCY'S YA GOTTA KNOW WHEN TO HOLD 'EM GrCH CH on her sire's side among others. Our most affectionate dog with a knack for rat hunting but with the willpower to control herself when it comes to our chickens. She adores water of all kinds, hard-boiled eggs, and bacon when she can talk someone out of it. She's incredibly attentive and adores spending time with people, thriving on a laid-back exercise routine. As both a guardian and a warm-hearted greeter, she's an absolute joy to have in our family. 'Oddie'
AKC Odin Woodrow
Oddie is named after his parents and Woodrow Call in the book Lonesome Dove (our family's favorite). He loves car and truck rides, being a running partner, and carrots. Altered in 2021 he is best friends with Maggie and guardian of our home and property.
'Sugar Bear'
2007-2023
Sugar Bear was no ordinary miniature Dachshund; she radiated love to all she met with no distinguishing friend from foe. We welcomed her into our family at the age of 9, already a senior dog, but she cherished car rides and embraced everyone as her own. Her only request was a lift if you didn't oblige, she would bark at you until you did.
This year, at nearly 17 years old, she journeyed over the Rainbow Bridge due to spleen cancer. She leaves behind an enduring legacy of love that will forever warm our hearts."
