Otherwise known as Sonny 
Sonny is a very loving dog and is friendly with most everyone, but will stand his ground to protect his family.  He lives in Wyoming with his family and loves to talk and play in the snow. He is super smart and has earned a plethora of conformation and working titles.   In 2023 he was awarded the German Shepherd Dog Club of America's Award of Excellence as Grand Victor.  AKC registered, OFA certified, AKC certified temperament, herding instinct, and more.
The Grand Victor is chosen each year as the best of all dogs (males) shown in the Breed class at the annual German Shepherd Dog Club of America National Specialty Show.  This title is the most prestigious “conformation” award given by the GSDCA in recognition of the quintessential German Shepherd. They excel in conformation, are sound in body, have keen minds which make them capable of and suitable for the many different “jobs” in which society has placed them…i.e…THE TOTAL DOG.
In order for a GSD to achieve this award, they must be a Champion, Select at the National, have OFA/OVC hips and elbows, pass the GSDCA Temperament Test and have a performance title from Obedience, Tracking, Herding, Agility, Rally, or IPO.  Owner must be a member of the GSDCA.He has been meticulously health tested and approved by the OFA, including comprehensive DNA and DM analysis.
